TikTok Attacks! The Most Favorite Application at Play Store

Who doesn’t know about TikTok? The Chinese music video platform was nominated as the most favorite application at Play Store after being released in September 2016. Around 2018, the application went viral in Indonesia as many Indonesians have loved the app’s concept. The platform enables the users to make short dance videos in such a simple way. TikTok also provides the users with various music features and filters for making their videos more attractive. 

Unfortunately, a few people used it for making negative contents. Zhang Yimin is the brain behind this popular platform. The Chinese national went viral in various circles, from children to elderly ones, in early 2020. Even Indonesia’s celebrities, such as Gisel and Gempi, created TikTok videos. 

Dear Boldee, Gisel and Gempi often included their cosmetics brand in their TikTok videos. The soft promotion tactic has made the platform more likeable in addition to channeling people’ creativities. 

The users of the platform usually reupload their videos to other platforms, making it is easily booming nowadays. The phenomenon isn’t happening in Indonesia only but also in other countries along with citizens’ characteristics and creativities.
